Senior
Account Director - Purchasing Sales, Gail Zalarick joined Hakins in 1991 and has planned the full spectrum
of large and small meetings, incentive trips, sports hospitality
programs, product launches, sweepstakes fulfillments,
and promotional events, including the award-winning Republic
of Cuervo Gold in the British Virgin Islands.
Gail plays a variety of essential roles assisting President
Paul Smith and she is instrumental in the eHakins Services™
technical issues that keep us well in the forefront
of the travel technology community.

Under the direction
of an account executive, Jill Ryan anchors the Project Support Group with
a staff of full and part-time pros – depending upon
the peaks and valleys of the group travel business - fulfilling
the multitude of individual customer service requests
that naturally occur in the booking process of any large
travel program.
In addition to providing main-office support, during the
account executives local planning and on-site duties,
these very talented travel technology experts operate
all the various public and proprietary software programs
that comprise eHakins Services™. |

With
almost half of corporate incentive travel program hotel
budgets being spent on food and beverage, special attention
to this aspect is drawn from the consultation and advice
of Director, Client Relations & Culinary services Chef David Starace, a graduate
of the Culinary Institute of America, member of the prestigious
International Chefs Association, American Culinary Federation,
Alumni Association of the Culinary Institute of America
and the American Littoral Society.
Dave’s extensive experience at the 5-star Michelin-rated
Brenners Park Hotel in Baden Baden, West Germany, proprietorship
of his own restaurant, The Peacock Room, executive chef
tenure at several private country clubs in Northern New
Jersey, and his hosting of inaugural balls for Governors
Whitman, Kean and Florio as executive chef at Chanticler
Chateau in Warren, NJ, are all invaluable to cost efficient
and memorable food and beverage functions. |

Hakins
Travel Staff is a core group of 16 dedicated
and experienced professionals we have “found along
the way”. Many have been with us for over five years
and several of our Program Directors have been with us
from the start!
Our experienced on-site travel staff is familiar with
group operations procedures and Hakins policies. They
provide superior support and, anticipate the client’s
wishes and every contingency. Because they’ve worked
with us for years, chances are when you specifically request
any of them for future programs, they’ll be there
for you!

Paulette
Hopkins, Special Accounts, has operational
and sales expertise (both domestic and international)
from key involvement in a variety of programs and events
for media, entertainment, technology, pharmaceutical,
and industrial companies. Her strong hotel and client
relationships, vast venue knowledge, and interest in working
with accounts strategically and managerially add immensely
to the Hakins team.
Paulette is also Managing Director of the Atlanta-based
Hopkins Alliance, a meeting planning consortium,
and is active in a number of professional associations,
such as the Georgia MPI chapter (Meeting Professionals
International) and Executive Women’s International.
Her business travels have taken her to far-flung destinations
worldwide – including Europe, the Middle East, Far
East, and Central America.
Paulette has a particular passion and expertise for creating
and managing hospitality venues for corporate-sponsored
golf tournaments. |
